Company policy prevents users from being asked for a second authentication factor if they are using a device that is registered to the company's directory of devices.
It is recommended that all users register their devices so that it is easier to login and to stay logged in.
This guide assumes that you have already installed the "Microsoft Authenticator" app. To register your device, please follow the instructions.
To make things easier, it's suggested to follow these instructions while on company wifi.
Step 1: Open the Microsoft Authenticator App
Find the app on the home screen and open it. The icon will look teh same as the one circled in red.
Step 2: Enter the settings menu
Click the hamburger menu circled in red.
Select "settings" to enter the settings menu.
Step 3: Click on Device Registration
Select "Device Registration" to begin device registration.
Then click "register this device."
Step 4: Enter your email address.
After entering your email address, you should select "register device." It will continue to ask for your password. If you are on the company wifi, you will not need to provide a second authentication factor (approve sign in). If you are not on company wifi, you will be required to approve the sign in.
Once Complete:
After 15-30 minutes the setting will take effect, and you will no longer be challenged for a second authentication factor.
